Bhautik Sojitra

• Bhautik was born and raised in Vapi. His father, Rameshbhai K. Sojitra, is a civil engineer who began his career in government contracting and eventually became a successful builder and developer in Vapi.
• Bhautik Sojitra completed his bachelor’s honors degree at CEPT University from 2009 to 2014, one of India’s most renowned institutions in the fields of architecture and civil engineering.
• As part of his college project training program, Bhautik had the opportunity to contribute to one of India’s tallest high-rise buildings, the G+70-floor residential tower ‘DB Crown’ in Lower Parel, Mumbai, during 2012-13. In the final semester of his B.Tech (Hons) degree program, he chose to write a thesis on property valuation in the Vapi region, which helped him understand the various parameters affecting the valuation of different types of properties. He completed this work under the guidance of Prof. Reshma Shah from CEPT University.
• In 2014, Bhautik joined NIRMA University, one of India’s prestigious institutions, to pursue a post-graduate degree in computer-aided structural analysis and design. During his post-graduation, he completed office training at STUP Consultants in Ahmedabad. His thesis project focused on the use of slag in concrete, and he published his research in Dundee, Scotland, under the guidance of Prof. Urmil Dave from NIRMA University.
• After completing his post-graduation, Bhautik had the opportunity to work at CAES Consultants in Ahmedabad. During his first job, he explored his skills in the design field, working as a design engineer on numerous projects. After gaining sufficient experience, he started his own consulting firm while also managing his father’s construction projects. He worked on the Lake Development Project in Daman (Department: Daman Municipal Corporation) and the installation of ready-made kitchen carcasses at RBI Colony, Navrangpura (Department: Reserve Bank of India, Ahmedabad), where he handled the end-to-end process of tendering, billing, site execution, and more. He also worked on industrial and real estate projects in the private sector.
• Working as a contractor on various types of projects helped him transition into the consulting field, where he focused on providing more detailed drawings on-site to facilitate construction. His goal was to ensure that even a layperson could understand construction drawings for complex architectural designs.
• He believes that practical knowledge is essential during education, which is why his company is very open to providing internships for students who want to learn and gain hands-on experience.
